Introduction
Trees play a crucial role in supporting life on Earth. They provide clean air, protect wildlife habitats, improve soil health, and reduce the effects of climate change. Trees also enhance the beauty of our surroundings and create comfortable spaces with shade and cooling. By increasing tree populations in ifrane, we can restore the enviorment , support biodiversity, and build a healthier and more sustainable future for ifran. This project aims to inspire action and make a positive impact by planting and caring for more trees in our communities.

Materials

Our seed
Our seed consists of the materials above.The seed is able to sustain heat and other conitions like animal consumation and etc.Due to its hard coal coat the coat melts when exposed to water or rain allowing the seeds to be planted.
Experiment
We are trying to figure out where the seeds will grow the most by planting each one of them in different types of soils and conditions.
Types of soils and conditions
Dry / in the sun exposed to rain
Moist / next to the wall and shade exposed to rain
Moist / in the sun exposed to rain
Hypothesis
We believe that the seed will grow in the area where it is in the sun moist and exposed to rain. due to the moist soil and sun will help it grow.
Procedure
First we plant the seeds in every location stated above then we monitor the seeds throughout the weeks until it rains.
Seed 1 moist/sun
In week one the seed had zero cm in growth.
In week two the seed did not grow either.
In week three it rained so we had to be patient.
In week four the seed sadly did not grow.
Seed 2 dry/sun
In week 1 the seed did not grow
In week two the seed didnt grow so we dug it up sadly the seed had rotted.

Seed 3 moist/shade
In week one the seed didnt grow we had low expectaitions.
In week two the seed didn't grow either we expected this.
In week three it rained but we had low expectations.
In week four we where surprised the seed actually grew.
Data and recording
In the first week there was no rain so all the seeds ad no growth. In week two it had raind so we hoped that one of the seeds would sprout . In the begining of week 3 the plant in the shade and moist had grew.
Conclusion
Our hypothesis was wrong. The seed that grew was the one in moist soil in the shade and exposed to rain. We think it is because there was no sun to make the coal layer dry, and the moist soil and rain desolve the coal layer and planted the seed. Our project is a way to solve a problem, not to adapt to it. Unlike the other projects, we are trying to find a solution. We are happy that the moist and shaded seed grew this is beacause the forest has the same conditions.If you are wondering why we did this project, it is because we wanted to replace the roles of the animals that have left due to tree scarcity and by doing that we will restore ifran's lush miraculous life filled forests .
