Mentor, Educator, Speaker, Consultant
I read long ago that every successful person has had at least 7 positive role models in their lives. I've had far more. And in many ways, their influence has driven me into mentoring and coaching.
I've been in and around athletics quite literally since I was born. My father was an educator and a coach, as were numerous others in my family. I began competing in organized sports when I was about 7 years old as a tee-ball player, and continued until I moved on from Major League Lacrosse in 2017 at the age of 35.
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, I graduated from Brown University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Education Studies and a focus in Human Development, and I earned my Masters Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine in 2018. Since 2005, I have served as a coach, mentor, Big Brother, and educator in Miami, FL.
