GREEN??

starting from the red cabbage juice

and I saw adding baking soda will turn it blue

it kinda did!

add ALUM

disolve in hot water

add to the juice

add WASHING SODA

mix in

it turned GREEN

stuff starts to settle at bottom

lots of stuff I hope

ready to filter out with a coffee filter

pour stuff in

wait for it to filter

pour more stuff

now I'm gonna wash the stuff...just a re-filter with hot water

adding more stuff

let filter over night

here is all we got....hmmmmm

we'll let this dry for a few days

after 1 day of drying

there was still a lot of juice left...so I did the process again

same color

good separation

drain off the liquid on top

strain the pigment through

over night strain

spread out ready to dry

here's the 2 piles of green....dried out

scrape the pigment off the filter

final result from filter

ready to grind

fine powder

sieve out anything big and bad

green pigment!!!!!
