Research Interest: My research interest is in understanding earth system specifically in the domain of atmospheric science and climate change. I am interested in understanding the dynamics of the atmosphere and oceans:- atmospheric circulation, monsoon variability, greenhouse gases their source and effect on climate change, radiative forcing, and the effect of climate change in various earth system processes. I am also inclined towards weather forecasting (prediction of rainfall and other climate/atmosphere-driven events) and extreme event analysis through remote sensing and statistical analysis. I am currently working on understanding the dynamics and impact of Atmospheric River events over India.
