Mr. Roboato is a mechatronic device, sponsored by Leidos, to retrofit existing ships that have multiple systems with maritime autonomy. Each ship is composed of various unmodified electro-mechanical devices that Mr. Roboato must manipulate.

The ultimate goal is to have Mr. Roboato be an economical and minimally invasive alternative to automate ships.
