Welcome to the Structural Geology & Tectonics research group at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville! We combine fundamental skills in structural geology with field, analytical, and numerical modeling techniques to understand the forces and dynamic interactions driving crustal deformation, topographic evolution, basin accumulation, and lithospheric dynamics.
Our group believes that a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative community is fundamental to advancing scientific creativity and innovation, and promoting such a community is central to our research goals. We welcome policies expanding access & engagement at the University of Tennessee.
