6/25 - GRADUATION!! 🎓

Saturday 6/26/2021

7:30 - Arrive at the High School Cafeteria - Bagel breakfast (including gluten free bagels) and water will be provided

8:15 - Head to HS Gym for Class photo (masks may be worn but are not required)

8:30 - Begin lining up in alphabetical order for the procession

8:40 - Begin procession to the stadium field

9:00 - Class of 2021 graduation begins!

Reminders

- Bring your cap, gown, tassel, "CM" collar, and honor cords with you

- Your red gown will fade onto any light colored clothing underneath unless the gown has been washed

- You will be walking and seated in damp grass - choose your shoes wisely!

- Pictures will be taken of your diploma exchange and will be made available afterwards

Guests

- There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend; tickets are not required

- Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs to place on the field

- Guests may instead sit on the bleachers, or stand

6/22 - BABY / EARLY YEARS PICTURES - Mr. Thode is requesting that you send him a special baby or early years photo of your

graduate in order to put something together in time for or shortly after graduation.

PROM - Thursday 6/24

4:00 - Pre Prom begins - attendees should enter the HS through the cafeteria entrance

5:00 - Red carpet begins - spectators are welcome to watch the procession outside

5:15 - Buses depart for Giorgio's

10:30 - Buses return from Giorgio's (afterwards students may not linger in or around the school)

GRADUATION - Saturday 6/26

7:15 - Seniors: arrive to the HS Cafeteria for bagel breakfast - have your cap, gown, collar, tassel, honor cords, and

white "class of 2021" mask

8:15 - Senior class photo - Wear the white "class of 2021" mask from the picnic

8:40 - Procession to Stadium Field begins

9:00 - Ceremony begins

Notes:

The graduation will take place outside on the stadium field

There is no limit to the number of guests a student may have, and tickets are not required

Guests are encouraged to bring their own seats for placement on the field; Guests may also stand or may sit in the bleachers

Times / date subject to change in the event of inclement weather

Note regarding the red graduation gown:

The red gown will rub its color onto light colored clothing worn underneath

It is highly recommended that the gown be washed, dried, and ironed (per its instructions) prior to being worn on Saturday

6/17 - GRADUATION REHEARSAL AND SENIOR PICNIC - take place tomorrow 6/18!

Here is some information you need to know (note that times after 8:00 are approximate):

7:45 - come to the HS gym - enter through the outside doors facing the turf field. DO NOT enter through the school.

8:00 - graduation rehearsal begins

9:30 - caps and gowns will be distributed

9:45 - board buses to Clayton Huey for senior walk

10:45 - return from Clayton Huey for Middle School walk

11:00 - yearbooks will be distributed in the gym

11:30 - PICNIC! On the turf field. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided.

Feel free to bring lawn games, frisbees, etc., and wear sunscreen! 🌞

DO NOT BRING WATER GUNS - they will be confiscated, will not be returned, and NO you will NOT be reimbursed!

1:45 - After underclassmen have left the building you can enter to ask teachers to sign your yearbook 🖉

REMINDER - you can only participate if your Chromebook has been returned before 8:00 tomorrow morning.

We are all looking forward to a fun, safe, and eventful day!

6/7 - CHROMEBOOK RETURN - In an effort to get all Chromebooks back from seniors, Chromebooks will be collected on Friday 6/11.

Note that if your Senior does not have access to a computer at home they should keep the Chromebook until 6/18 since they

will be attending classes virtually until then. Questions: Contact mmangogna@cmschools.org.

PROM TICKETS - will be sold through 6/11. Seniors should see Mrs. Woodworth to purchase one (permission slip required).

6/1 - SENIOR ATHLETIC BANQUET is 6/22. See info about purchasing tickets here.

LAWN SIGNS HAVE ARRIVED! They are available to be picked up in room 300.

Send an email to kwoodworth@cmschools.org if you would like to have it brought to the main office for pick up.
