New Ministerial Portfolios Announced
Today, the 9th September, was a reformational day for Concordian politics. Less than a week after the Concordian Republic moved into the Second Phase, the President has confirmed that three new ministries will be created. These are the Minister for Communities and Development, the Minister for Environment, and the Minister for External Affairs. Whilst we know the basics of this, a full report is yet to come from our President, who is expected to also mention this in his conference tomorrow, alongside the relocation of Carrolinux. Here’s what we know so far.
Let’s start with the Minister for Communities and Development. This has been confirmed to be the Governor of Carrolinux, Jane Carl, by both the President and themself. The Minister is responsible for the maintaining and advancement of communities and facilities.
Next is the Minister for the Environment. This has also been double-confirmed to be the Governor of Aeonia by both herself and the President. It is anticipated the role will be to maintain the environmental status of the various territories.
Finally, the Minister for External Affairs. It is currently unknown who it will be, but it is expected the portfolio will include command of the defence system, and charge of the external relations.
