The Concordian Star - 9/9/21

Nearly a Square Kilometre of Land to be Annexed

Yesterday, the 8th September, is going to be a day legendary in Concordian history. The Governor of Carrolinux, Jane Carl, confirmed that they were the owner of multiple square kilometres of land near Chittering. The area, known as the Outcamp, would increase the land size of Concordia nearly five fold. The President was quoted earlier today as saying, ‘This is a truly historic day for the Concordian Republic. This is the largest event to happen in Concordia since our founding last June.’

The new territory is to become the first time the Third Order has been invoked, relocating the borders of Carrolinux to the Outcamp. A Google Earth file accessed by CMBC indicated the presence of two towns, Outcamp Town and Section Town. The presence of the Brockman River was also identified, as well as a tributary, named by the file as the Outcamp Brook. We are anticipating an announcement from President Ramsell in the first press conference out of the Archives and Business Centre, on the matter of the relocation of Carrolinux.

It is also expected Jane Carl will be surrendering at least part of their primary occupancy to have a permanent governance over the external territory. The territory formerly occupied by Carrolinux will be given to Aeonia, adding nearly 70,000 square metres of land to that state. A later part of the President’s quote well sums this up. ‘This is not only an expansion of our borders, but our minds.’
