Jerry Morton

Jerry Morton, CMA membership number 30847, was one of the most loyal members in New Mexico for many years. Jerry saw CMA chapters during the best of times, and the worst of times, and never faltered in his support and participation for the ministry in New Mexico. Often, Jerry was the only member from his chapter that attended state rallies (Seasons of Refreshing and state rally). I once told Jerry how much I appreciated his faithfulness to the ministry, and of course he immediately switched to praise to myself. That was typical of Jerry. Always smiling and sharing Christ's love with others.

Through his struggles with cancer, I never once saw Jerry complain or be negative. His testimony was that four chapter members had cancer, yet they were all four in remission; followed by praising God! He was fantastic support to and for me, and I will always remember Jerry for that. Truely, a man of God, humble in his service.

Well done Jerry!!!!! You will be missed. Looking forward to sharing in worship of Jesus at the foot of the throne.
