Dick and Debby were friends with everyone they ever met. He was
the outgoing boisterous one of the two, and she was the smiling,
supportive counterpart in the marriage. lt was never any doubt when
Dick and Debby were around....we all knew it.
Dick was a Bible scholar and was always willing to share, pray, or
minister in any way possible; many times in prisons, along the
highways, service stations, etc. He was "larger than life". I heard
Debby once speak during a prison visit at a women's facility. Her
message was frank, honest, and just what many needed to hear. She
had a testimony that changed lives in lost people!
Dick and Debby were always at the Colors rally and camped very near
the pavilion in the same location each year. The posted their New
Mexico banner at their campground and everyone knew them. They
were riding to the Colors rally in 2008, two-up in their Yamaha Venture.
They had just rode past the Texas/Oklahoma state line on Interstate 40,
had a blowout and went down. They both died soon after being
transported to the hospital.
Many bikers of all walks of life were at their funeral/life celebration.
Again, a testimony to the fruit from their ministry in CMA. We will
always miss them and often speak of them with a smile. Lord, thank
