About the Center
The Center for Medical and Health Technology Assessment (CM-HTA) was established in 2022 as a research center under the Department of Pharmaceutical Care, Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University. The primary objective of the center is to produce high-quality research works in the field of health technology assessment (HTA). The scope of research of the center is primarily economic evaluation. However, secondary data analysis and evidence synthesis are also within the scope of the center. Additionally, the center is responsible for providing research consultation and academic services in related fields for both government and private sectors.

Associate Professor Dr. Piyameth Dilokthornsakul PharmD., PhD.
Dr. Dilokthornsakul is an HTA researcher. His expertise is in health economic modeling, secondary data analysis, systematic review, and network meta-analysis. His research focuses on the fields of chronic diseases, especially respiratory, cardiology, and immunology. In addition, he is also interested in the economic evaluation of vaccines.

Associate Professor Dr. Unchalee Permsuwan BPharm., PhD.
Dr. Permsuwan is a HTA researcher. Her work focuses on the economic evaluation of health interventions, including pharmaceuticals and diagnostic tests. Her clinical research focus is in the field of cardiology.

Assistant Professor Dr. Witoo Dilokthornsakul BPharm., PhD.
Dr. Dilokthornsakul is a pharmacologist who is interested in applying her knowledge to pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research. Her work mostly focuses on a systematic review and meta-analysis of the treatment effect, safety, and toxicity of medications from both laboratory and clinical aspects. Her clinical research focus is in the fields of endocrinology and toxicology.

Dr. Jirawit Tadee PharmD.
Dr. Yadee is an HTA researcher. His expertise is in the economic evaluation of chronic diseases. His clinical research focus is in the field of cardiology.

Assistant Professor Dr. Mantiwee Nimworapan PharmD., BCPS
Dr. Mantiwee is a cardiology pharmacist and an instructor in clinical pharmacy. She is also interested in real-world outcome research, systematic review, and meta-analysis. Her research focuses on the real-world outcomes and evidence synthesis of medications used in cardiology and thrombosis.

Dr. Suthinee Taesotikul Pharm.D. (Pharmaceutical care), BCP
Dr. Taesotikul is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care and an instructor in clinical pharmacy. She is also interested in real-world outcome research to improve patient safety and optimize medical effectiveness, especially in critically ill patients with medical and surgical conditions. Her research focuses on antibiotics, sedatives, opioids, and supportive medications in the ICU.

Assistant Professor Dr. Buntitabhon Sirichanchuen BPharm., PhD.
Dr. Sirichanchuen is a lecturer in topics involving pharmacotherapy in gastrointestinal diseases and oncology. She also serves as a clinical pharmacist in the warfarin clinic and oncology unit. Her clinical research mostly focuses on the efficacy and safety of medicines used in cancer treatment. She is also interested in a systematic review and meta-analysis of drugs or dietary supplements for cancer.
