Effective date: 25 October 2026

The extension has no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
Everything you create stays on your device. The extension never sends it anywhere.
The only way information can reach me is a bug report that you choose to send yourself. It is encrypted on your device first, it contains no clock names, notes, labels or images, and you can see exactly what is in it before you send it.
Stored in your browser profile with chrome.storage.local. It is not synced to other devices by the extension and I cannot see it.
Data
Why
Your clocks (names, time zones, colors), layout, display settings, saved color presets
To show your new tab
Timers, stopwatch state, alarms, sound settings
To run timers and alarms, also when the tab is closed
Notes: titles, text, to-dos, colors, positions, pasted images
To show your notes board
A diagnostic log: up to 150 short lines per part of the extension (page, background)
To help diagnose errors. Lines are scrubbed of e-mail addresses, file paths, image data and similar, and never contain note or clock content
You can delete this data at any time: remove items in the extension, use Settings > Backup > Reset, Settings > Help & about > Clear log, or uninstall the extension (which removes all of it).
It does not read or change web pages, history, bookmarks or cookies, and it cannot see your other tabs. The only tab it opens is its own page, when you click one of its notifications. It requests no host permissions and makes no network requests. It does not use cookies, fingerprinting, advertising identifiers, third-party scripts or any remotely loaded code. The only third-party material inside it is the Heroicons icon set (see the third-party notices in the extension package).
If an error occurs, or when you choose Report a problem, the extension builds a report on your device:
Included: the extension version; your browser's user-agent string (browser and operating system versions), language and platform; the last error message; the scrubbed diagnostic log; counts and display settings only (for example "5 clocks, 3 notes, 2 images totalling 120 KB, layout mosaic, 24-hour off, sound on, storage used"); and anything you type in the message box.
Not included: clock names or time zones, note titles or text, to-do text, alarm or timer labels, images, or your identity.
Preview: the dialog shows the exact content before anything is created.
Encryption: the report is encrypted on your device with a public key built into the extension (RSA-4096 with AES-256-GCM). Only I hold the matching private key.
How it reaches me: the extension opens your email app addressed to the support address, with the encrypted report as text in the message. You press send. If the report is too large for an email link, or you choose Download & email, the extension saves the encrypted file instead and you attach it. The extension itself sends nothing.
Because it arrives as ordinary email, I also see your email address, the time sent, and anything you write in the unencrypted email body. Your email provider handles the message under its own privacy policy.
Why I process it: to diagnose and fix problems you reported (your consent by sending it; my legitimate interest in fixing bugs).
Retention: I keep a report only as long as needed to fix the problem and delete it within 12 months at the latest, or sooner if you ask. I do not share reports with anyone, sell them, or use them for anything else.
Notification and sound: alerts use Chrome and your operating system's notification features. A notification shows your timer or alarm label, and your operating system may keep notification history on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Links: the links in the About dialog (the Heroicons website, and the extension that inspired this one) open in a new tab only if you click them. The extension itself never contacts those sites.
Downloads and clipboard: when you export, download a note or copy something, the data goes to a file or the clipboard you chose.

I hold no personal data about you except a bug report you send me. If you sent one, you can ask me to tell you what I hold, correct it, or delete it, and, where the law gives you these rights (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR, or the CCPA / CPRA in California), to object or to complain to your data protection authority. Email me and I will reply within 30 days. I do not sell or share personal information, and I do not make automated decisions about anyone.
The extension is a general-purpose tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your country). It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Data stays in your browser's protected extension storage. The extension uses no remote code, no eval, and inserts your content into pages as plain text. Bug reports are encrypted before they leave the extension. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your device and browser up to date. To report a vulnerability, email me at the address below.
The extension processes data only on your device. A bug report you email travels through your email provider to mine and may cross borders as any email does.
If data handling changes, I will update this policy, change the effective date above, and note it in the store listing. A change that sends more data than described here will not ship without a clear in-extension notice and your consent.
