Thank you for using Alarm Clock (referred to as "the App"). We highly value your privacy and are committed to transparently explaining how we handle data. Please read the following terms carefully. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Types of Data We Collect
The App does not require, collect, transmit, or store any personal information or sensitive data, including but not limited to:
Alarm Settings Data: Your configured alarm times, repeat schedules, labels, etc., are stored locally on your device and will not be uploaded to servers or shared with third parties.
Device Information: The App does not request special permissions (e.g., location, microphone, contacts) and does not access device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, serial numbers).
Usage Behavior: No advertisements or analytics tools are integrated; we do not track your usage frequency or activity logs.
2. How Data Is Stored
Local Storage: All alarm configuration data is stored solely on your device (e.g., via system SharedPreferences or local databases) and will not be synced to the cloud or other devices.
Data Retention Period:
You can delete individual alarms at any time through in-app functions.
All locally stored alarm data will be automatically removed upon uninstalling the App.
Temporary Caching (if applicable): To ensure alarms function properly, the system may temporarily cache trigger times in the background. This is managed by the operating system, and you may terminate related processes via device settings.
3. How Data Is Used
Since the App does not collect user data, the following uses are excluded:
Data will not be used for advertising, personalized recommendations, or commercial analysis.
Data will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties (including affiliates, partners, or advertisers).
Data will not be utilized to develop other products or services.
Sole Exception:
Legal Compliance: We may cooperate with judicial authorities to provide locally stored data if legally required.
4. Additional Key Terms
Security Measures
We use encryption technologies to protect locally stored alarm data. However, no electronic device can entirely eliminate potential security risks.
Permissions Clarification
The App relies on standard Android system permissions (e.g., wake locks, vibration control) to ensure alarms function correctly. These permissions do not require manual user approval.
We do not collect additional information through system permissions.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not designed for users under 13. If a guardian discovers unauthorized use by a child, please contact us for assistance.
Policy Updates
Revised versions will be published within the App or on the Google Play page. Significant changes will be notified via alerts or in-app pop-ups.
