Effective Date: May 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of CleanWay: Storage Sweep (“CleanWay”, “the app”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using CleanWay, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. App Purpose
CleanWay is a device storage management and cleanup tool. It helps users review removable cache, large files, screenshots, installed apps, and network activity information so they can make informed cleanup decisions.
CleanWay does not guarantee a specific amount of storage recovery, device speed improvement, or performance result. Cleanup results depend on your device, Android version, granted permissions, stored files, and system limitations.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CleanWay for personal, lawful, and device maintenance purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, rent, distribute, or exploit the app except as allowed by applicable law.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing files, screenshots, cache items, apps, and cleanup results before confirming any action. Deleted files or uninstalled apps may not always be recoverable.
You should not use CleanWay to delete files that you do not own or do not have permission to manage.
4. Cleanup and App Management Features
CleanWay may allow you to scan storage areas, review cache-related items, identify large files, organize screenshots, view installed apps, and start uninstall actions.
The app provides tools to help you review and manage storage. Final cleanup decisions remain under your control. CleanWay should not be treated as a backup tool, recovery tool, antivirus tool, or guaranteed performance optimizer.
5. Permissions
CleanWay may request permissions needed for its stated features, including storage access, app-related access, foreground service access, and notification-related access.
Permissions are used to support visible app functions such as storage scanning, cleanup review, app management, network activity display, and notification-based utility shortcuts. You can manage or revoke permissions through Android system settings, but some features may stop working if required permissions are disabled.
6. Foreground Service and Notifications
CleanWay may use a foreground service to keep certain user-facing utility features visible and accessible. This may include network activity information displayed in the notification area and shortcuts that help users quickly open cleanup tools.
Foreground service notifications are intended to remain visible while the related function is active. You may stop the service or manage notification behavior through the app or system settings where available.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CleanWay in any way that:
Violates laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Attempts to access, delete, or manage files without proper authorization.
Interferes with the normal operation of the app or Android system.
Attempts to bypass security, permission, billing, or platform restrictions.
Uses the app for harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
8. Third-Party Services
CleanWay may include third-party services, such as analytics, crash reporting, advertising, app distribution, or diagnostic tools. These services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, or actions outside our control.
9. Updates and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of CleanWay at any time. Updates may change features, permission requirements, interface design, or compatibility with certain devices.
We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
CleanWay is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that CleanWay will always be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or able to identify every removable file or storage item.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of files, loss of profits, device issues, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use CleanWay.
You are responsible for reviewing cleanup selections before confirming deletion or app uninstallation.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to CleanWay if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, or use it in a way that may harm users, systems, or our services.
You may stop using CleanWay at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.
13. Privacy
Your use of CleanWay is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how information is handled when you use the app.
