How to deactivate Clip Studio Paint license on your device
Clip Studio Paint is a popular software for creating digital art, comics, animation, and more. If you have purchased a license for Clip Studio Paint, you can use it on up to two devices at the same time. One-time purchase license
If you have bought a one-time purchase license for Clip Studio Paint, you can use it on two devices of the same OS (Windows or macOS). To deactivate the license on your device, follow these steps:
Launch Clip Studio Paint on the device you want to deactivate.
Go to Help > Register License.
Enter your serial number and click Register License.
On the next screen, click Perform manually and then Next.
You will see a set of 11 numbers. Copy them or write them down somewhere.
Click the URL below the numbers. It will open a web page in your browser.
On the web page, scroll down to the bottom and click Go License deactivation.
Paste or type the 11 numbers you copied earlier and click Deactivation.
You will see a confirmation message that your license has been deactivated on your device.
Note that deactivating the license will clear the previous two registrations and you will be able to register it on two devices again. You can also deactivate the license from another device if you have access to it.
Monthly usage plan license
If you have subscribed to a monthly usage plan for Clip Studio Paint, you can use it on one device of any OS (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android). To deactivate the license on your device, follow these steps:
Launch Clip Studio Paint on the device you want to use instead of the current one.
If you are using a smartphone, switch to Studio Mode first by tapping the â icon and selecting App Settings.
Tap or click the Clip Studio Paint icon and select Review/Change License.
Select the license for your monthly usage plan from Use existing license, and then select Deactivate and launch on this device.
When the confirmation screen appears, select Yes.
Select Start. Your license will be deactivated on your previous device and activated on your new device.
