Privacy Policy - Climix

Welcome to Climix ("the App", "we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy
and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy
explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you
use the Climix app.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in
accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
a) Account Information
You can use Climix in two ways:
- As a Guest: an anonymous account is created automatically. No personal
information is collected in this mode.
- Signed in with Google: when you sign in using your Google account, we
collect your full name, email address, and profile picture (if
available), through Firebase Authentication, a service provided by
Google. We use this only to identify your account. We never store or
have access to your account password.
You can link a Guest account to a Google account at any time, and you
can permanently delete your account and all associated authentication
data at any time from within the App (see Section 6).
b) Location Data
The App requests access to your device's location (precise or
approximate) in order to display weather data and forecasts relevant to
your current location, and to enable location-based weather alert
notifications.
Location data is used only while the App is in use, or during scheduled
background work needed to deliver weather notifications. Your location
is not shared with any third party other than the weather data provider
described in Section 3, and only as geographic coordinates. If you deny
or revoke location access, the App remains fully usable — it falls back
to a default location or lets you search for a city manually.
c) App Data Stored on Your Device
To provide the App's features, we store the following data locally on
your device only:
- Cached weather data (current conditions, forecasts, historical data,
air quality, and similar data), so the App works faster and can show
recent data offline.
- Your favorite cities and recent search history.
- Your app preferences: language, units, theme, and notification
settings (including your preferred alert time and any custom
notification tone).
None of this data is uploaded to us or to any third party — it stays on
your device and is removed automatically if you uninstall the App. You
can clear cached weather data at any time from the App's settings.
d) Notifications
The App requests notification permission to send you a daily weather
summary and, if you enable them, proactive alerts about incoming rain,
storms, extreme temperatures, poor air quality, or flood risk. You can
disable any or all of these notification types individually from the
App's Notification Settings, or disable notifications entirely from
your device settings, at any time.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect solely for the following purposes:
- Providing accurate weather data and forecasts for your location
- Managing your account and securely signing you in
- Sending weather alerts and notifications you have enabled
- Fixing technical issues and developing new features
We do not use your data for any other commercial purpose such as
targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to any
third party.
3. Sharing Data with Third Parties
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the App:
- Google Firebase (Authentication): used to manage sign-in, account
linking, and account deletion. See Google's Privacy Policy at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Open-Meteo: an independent weather data provider. We send only the
geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) needed to retrieve
weather data for that location — no personal information that
identifies you is included.
- Google Play Services: used to manage Google Sign-In and location
services on Android devices.
We do not share your data with any party outside this scope, and we do
not sell your personal data to any advertiser or third party. As of the
current version of the App, we do not use any advertising SDK,
analytics SDK, or data broker of any kind.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable security measures to protect your data. Account data
is protected by Firebase Authentication's security infrastructure
(operated by Google), and data stored on your device is protected by
Android's app-level sandboxing, which prevents other apps from
accessing it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or
electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute
security.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated
authentication data at any time directly from within the App (Profile
→ Delete Account), or by contacting us at the email address at the end
of this policy. Data stored locally on your device is removed
automatically when you uninstall the App, or can be cleared manually at
any time from the App's Cache Management settings.
6. Your Rights
You have the right, at any time, to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct or update your data
- Delete your account and all associated data, directly from within the
App or by contacting us
- Withdraw your consent to location data collection by disabling the
permission in your device settings (note that the App remains
functional without it, though some features rely on it)
- Disable any type of notification individually, or all notifications,
at any time
7. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not
knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If we
discover that we have collected data from a child under the legal age
without parental consent, we will delete this data immediately upon
becoming aware of it.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material
changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. We
encourage you to review this page periodically.

سياسة الخصوصية - تطبيق Climix

مرحبًا بك في تطبيق Climix ("التطبيق"، "نحن"). نحترم خصوصيتك ونلتزم
بحماية بياناتك الشخصية. توضح سياسة الخصوصية هذه كيفية جمعنا واستخدامنا
وحمايتنا لبياناتك عند استخدامك لتطبيق Climix.
باستخدامك للتطبيق، فإنك توافق على جمع واستخدام المعلومات وفقًا لهذه
السياسة.
1. المعلومات التي نجمعها
أ) معلومات الحساب
تقدر تستخدم Climix بطريقتين:
- كضيف: بيتعمل حساب مجهول تلقائيًا. مفيش أي بيانات شخصية بتتجمع في
الوضع ده.
- تسجيل الدخول بحساب Google: عند تسجيل الدخول عبر حساب Google، نقوم
بجمع اسمك الكامل، عنوان بريدك الإلكتروني، وصورة ملفك الشخصي (إن
وجدت)، من خلال Firebase Authentication التابعة لشركة Google. نستخدم
هذه البيانات فقط للتعرف على حسابك، ولا نقوم أبدًا بتخزين أو الوصول
إلى كلمة مرور حسابك.
تقدر تربط حساب الضيف بحساب Google في أي وقت، وتقدر تحذف حسابك نهائيًا
مع كل بيانات الدخول المرتبطة به في أي وقت من داخل التطبيق (راجع القسم
6).
ب) بيانات الموقع الجغرافي
يطلب التطبيق إذن الوصول إلى موقعك الجغرافي (الدقيق أو التقريبي) لعرض
بيانات الطقس والتوقعات الخاصة بموقعك الحالي، ولتفعيل تنبيهات الطقس
المرتبطة بمكانك.
يتم استخدام بيانات الموقع فقط أثناء استخدام التطبيق، أو أثناء عمل
مجدول في الخلفية لإرسال إشعارات الطقس. لا تتم مشاركة موقعك مع أي طرف
ثالث غير مزود بيانات الطقس الموضح في القسم 3، وفقط كإحداثيات جغرافية.
لو رفضت أو ألغيت صلاحية الموقع، التطبيق بيفضل يشتغل بالكامل — بيرجع
لموقع افتراضي أو يخليك تدور عن مدينتك يدويًا.
ج) بيانات التطبيق المخزّنة على جهازك
عشان يقدم مميزاته، بنخزّن البيانات الآتية محليًا على جهازك فقط:
- بيانات الطقس المخزّنة (الحالة الحالية، التوقعات، البيانات التاريخية،
جودة الهواء، وبيانات مشابهة)، عشان التطبيق يشتغل أسرع ويعرض بيانات
حديثة حتى بدون إنترنت.
- المدن المفضلة وسجل البحث الأخير.
- تفضيلاتك: اللغة، الوحدات، الثيم، وإعدادات الإشعارات (بما فيها وقت
التنبيه المفضل وأي نغمة إشعار مخصصة).
ولا حاجة من البيانات دي بترفع لينا أو لأي طرف ثالث — بتفضل على جهازك
وبتتشال تلقائيًا لو حذفت التطبيق. تقدر تمسح بيانات الطقس المخزّنة في
أي وقت من إعدادات التطبيق.
د) الإشعارات
يطلب التطبيق إذن إرسال الإشعارات عشان يبعتلك ملخص طقس يومي، وإن فعّلت،
تنبيهات استباقية عن مطر قادم، عواصف، حرارة متطرفة، جودة هواء سيئة، أو
خطر فيضان. تقدر تقفل أي نوع من الإشعارات دي أو كلها بشكل منفصل من
إعدادات الإشعارات داخل التطبيق، أو تعطّل الإشعارات تمامًا من إعدادات
جهازك، في أي وقت.
2. كيف نستخدم بياناتك
نستخدم البيانات التي نجمعها للأغراض التالية فقط:
- تقديم بيانات الطقس والتوقعات الدقيقة الخاصة بموقعك
- إدارة حسابك وتسجيل دخولك بشكل آمن
- إرسال تنبيهات وإشعارات الطقس اللي فعّلتها
- إصلاح الأخطاء التقنية وتطوير ميزات جديدة
نحن لا نستخدم بياناتك في أي غرض تجاري آخر مثل الإعلانات المستهدفة، ولا
نقوم ببيع بياناتك الشخصية لأي طرف كان.
3. مشاركة البيانات مع أطراف ثالثة
نستخدم الخدمات الموثوقة الآتية لتشغيل التطبيق:
- Google Firebase (Authentication): لإدارة تسجيل الدخول، ربط الحسابات،
وحذف الحساب. راجع سياسة خصوصية Google على:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Open-Meteo: مزوّد بيانات طقس مستقل. نرسل فقط الإحداثيات الجغرافية
(خط الطول والعرض) اللازمة لجلب بيانات الطقس لهذا الموقع — من غير أي
معلومات شخصية تعرّف بهويتك.
- خدمات Google Play: لإدارة تسجيل الدخول بجوجل وخدمات الموقع الجغرافي
على أجهزة أندرويد.
لا تتم مشاركة بياناتك مع أي جهة أخرى خارج هذا النطاق، ولا نبيع بياناتك
الشخصية لأي معلن أو طرف ثالث. حتى النسخة الحالية من التطبيق، إحنا مش
بنستخدم أي SDK إعلانات، SDK تحليلات، أو أي وسيط بيانات من أي نوع.
4. أمان البيانات
نتخذ إجراءات أمان معقولة لحماية بياناتك. بيانات الحساب محمية ببنية
أمان Firebase Authentication (التابعة لجوجل)، والبيانات المخزّنة على
جهازك محمية بنظام عزل التطبيقات في أندرويد، اللي بيمنع أي تطبيق تاني
من الوصول ليها. مع ذلك، لا يمكن ضمان أمان مطلق لأي وسيلة نقل بيانات
عبر الإنترنت أو تخزين إلكتروني بنسبة 100%.
5. الاحتفاظ بالبيانات وحذفها
بيانات الحساب بتفضل محفوظة طالما حسابك نشط. تقدر تحذف حسابك نهائيًا مع
كل بيانات الدخول المرتبطة به في أي وقت مباشرة من داخل التطبيق (البروفايل
← حذف الحساب)، أو عن طريق التواصل معنا على البريد الإلكتروني في نهاية
هذه السياسة. البيانات المخزّنة محليًا على جهازك بتتشال تلقائيًا لما
تحذف التطبيق، أو تقدر تمسحها يدويًا في أي وقت من إعدادات إدارة التخزين
المؤقت.
6. حقوقك
يحق لك في أي وقت:
- الوصول إلى بياناتك الشخصية المخزنة لدينا
- تصحيح أو تحديث بياناتك
- حذف حسابك وكل بياناتك المرتبطة به، مباشرة من داخل التطبيق أو عن طريق
التواصل معنا
- سحب موافقتك على جمع بيانات الموقع من خلال تعطيل الإذن في إعدادات
جهازك (مع العلم أن التطبيق بيفضل شغال من غيرها، رغم إن بعض المميزات
بتعتمد عليها)
- تعطيل أي نوع من الإشعارات بشكل منفصل، أو كل الإشعارات، في أي وقت
7. خصوصية الأطفال
لا يستهدف هذا التطبيق الأطفال دون سن 13 عامًا، ولا نقوم عن قصد بجمع
بيانات شخصية من أطفال دون هذا السن. إذا اكتشفنا أننا جمعنا بيانات من
طفل دون السن القانونية دون موافقة ولي الأمر، سنقوم بحذف هذه البيانات
فورًا فور علمنا بذلك.
8. التغييرات على سياسة الخصوصية
قد نقوم بتحديث سياسة الخصوصية هذه من وقت لآخر. أي تغييرات جوهرية هيتم
توضيحها بتحديث تاريخ "آخر تحديث" أعلاه. ننصحك بمراجعة هذه الصفحة بشكل
دوري.
