Locals for a Greener Future is a grassroot group of educators who are organizing for sustainable change.
Why our work matters
Extreme heat, wildfire smoke, and flooding are already disrupting learning. Climate justice is a question of health & safety, equity, and learning conditions. We’re building power to win climate‑safe schools: organize, equip, and advocate — together.
What we do
Organize caucus calls, campaigns, and resolutions.
Equip members with PD, model language (bargaining & policy), and templates.
Advocate for climate‑resilient buildings, heat plans, and ethical investing/divestment.
