ClearTab Privacy Policy

ClearTab is an internal utility extension designed to manage and organize browser tabs.

Data Collection and Usage (Web History): ClearTab accesses the URLs and titles of your actively open browser tabs (classified by Google as Web History). This data is accessed solely to enable core features: saving your active tab sessions, organizing tab groups, preventing duplicates, and allowing you to manually export and import your session databases directly to and from your local drive.

Data Storage & Security: All session data and web history are stored strictly on your local device using standard Chrome local storage, or inside your manually exported backup files.

Third-Party Disclosure: ClearTab does not track, transmit, share, or sell any of your personal information, browsing history, or user data to external servers or third parties. Your data remains 100% private and localized to your machine.
