There are written and unwritten rules everywhere. As we all enjoy our lives behind the scenes, millions of regulations work in harmony to bring you everything from your food to the electricity that powers your flickering lights. Even the flicker of your lights is managed by an electricity regulation.
Most of us never really think about regulations, but business often need to engage with regulators and with regulations to commercialize their products. Many technologies are new and were not imagined when the early regulations were made. Initially, we see regulations emerge to help sell technologies that were built to last for decades.
Sometimes those very regulations that enabled the adoption of technologies can become outdated tools that need to be renovated. Prescriptive regulations no longer serve the needs to every business and need coordinated effort to help modify.
