This Privacy Policy explains how Clean Mobile handles information when you use the app.
Clean Mobile is developed by Devayu Labs. Most of the app works locally on your device. We do not sell your personal data.
This policy describes what information may be processed, how it is used, and when it may be shared.
If you contact us by email, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message contents.
To provide features such as junk cleaning, large file review, app management, backup and restore, contacts tools, photo tools, and security checks, the app may access device data that stays on your phone unless you choose to export or share it.
This can include file names, folder paths, storage usage, installed app details, contact entries, photo metadata, and other data needed to perform the feature you selected.
The app may request Android permissions that are necessary for specific tools, such as storage or media access, contacts access, camera access, notification access, usage access, Do Not Disturb control, installation from unknown sources, or system settings changes.
We use information only for app functionality and support purposes, including:
a. Running the feature you selected
b. Showing scan, backup, restore, and cleanup results
c. Saving local app settings and user preferences
d. Creating files you explicitly export or back up
e. Responding to questions, feedback, or bug reports
f. Improving stability and fixing issues
We do not sell your personal data or use your contacts, photos, files, or backups for ad targeting.
If you allow ads or consent where required, ad SDKs may process limited device and app data to serve, measure, and diagnose ads.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Information is shared only in limited situations:
When you choose to share files, backups, or exports yourself
When necessary to respond to a support request you sent us
When required by law or to protect our legal rights
Data that is processed locally remains on your device unless you intentionally move it elsewhere.
Clean Mobile may create local files for backups, restored content, reports, or exports that you initiate. These files are stored on your device or in the location you choose.
If you uninstall the app, local app settings may be removed. Files you created or exported may remain on your device until you delete them.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect information processed by the app.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Clean Mobile uses third-party SDKs and services to support advertising, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, messaging, and consent management. These may include Google Mobile Ads, Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Remote Config, and the Google UMP consent SDK.
These services may receive limited device and app data such as advertising identifiers, app usage information, crash logs, performance diagnostics, and notification token data. We use this information for ads delivery, app stability, feature configuration, and service operation.
If you use a system service, external app, or share data outside Clean Mobile, that third party's own privacy policy applies.
Clean Mobile is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
