CleanSweep is a dedicated file management and junk cleaning utility that relies on storage access permission to execute its core service modules. When you manually authorize full file management permission on your Android device, the application gains temporary access to all folders, cached resources, image files, video media, audio records, and document files stored on the local storage of your mobile device. This permission authorization is fully controlled by the end user, and you may revoke the storage access permission for CleanSweep at any time through your device’s system settings panel.
All file identification, duplicate media scanning, cache detection, and junk resource sorting operations executed by CleanSweep run entirely on the local device without transmitting the complete content of your local files to external servers or third-party service providers. The file scanning process only identifies file format markers, file size parameters, and storage path labels to classify duplicate media items and redundant cached resources for cleaning suggestions. No full text, image content, video footage, audio recordings, or private document data contained within your local files is exported outside of your mobile device during the file analysis workflow.
When abnormal runtime states occur during your use of CleanSweep, the application may generate local diagnostic logs that record operational failure timestamps, module loading state feedback, and device hardware parameter labels related to the crash event. These diagnostic records are generated solely to facilitate technical optimization of the file scanning and cleaning core modules of CleanSweep. Diagnostic log transmission can only proceed after the logs are packaged locally on your device, and all transmitted diagnostic data is encrypted during transmission in compliance with standard network security protocols. The diagnostic records do not capture local file content, user storage data, or any personally identifiable markers associated with your device identity beyond generic hardware identification tags required for performance troubleshooting.
CleanSweep accesses generic device identification labels stored on your mobile hardware to support consistent service tracking across repeated application launches, abnormal crash diagnostics, and third-party advertising service interaction logic integrated within the application. The device identifier data processed by CleanSweep may be shared with authorized third-party advertising and analytics service providers, solely for the execution of analytics tracking and in-app advertisement delivery workflows. You retain the ability to restrict the collection and use of device identification markers by adjusting relevant privacy control switches in your mobile device’s system privacy configuration panel.
All tap operations, module switching actions, and functional trigger behaviors you complete within the CleanSweep interface generate local interaction records. These interaction logs record which file cleaning modules you activate, the types of duplicate media scans you initiate, and your operations within the application’s settings panel. All temporary data generated during CleanSweep’s file scanning workflow is cached exclusively within the application’s isolated local storage partition on your mobile device. Temporary scan records, duplicate file classification lists, and cache resource inventory tables stored locally will be automatically cleared when you fully close the CleanSweep application process or initiate a manual cache cleaning operation through the core function button inside the app. No local file scan inventory records are retained on remote cloud servers operated by the developer or any affiliated third-party entities.
Every type of data packet transmitted from CleanSweep to external servers or authorized third-party service platforms utilizes industry-standard end-to-end encryption protocols during all network transmission procedures. All encrypted transmission mechanisms are maintained throughout every data upload workflow executed by the application, eliminating unencrypted plaintext data transmission across public network channels.
