The George Clayton Family Organization (GCFO) is an ancestral family organization whose ancestors lived in Derbyshire, England during the 1600's. The primary purpose of the GCFO is to research and document the English ancestors and relatives of George Clayton (1810-1861). In 1836, George Clayton married Jane Bingham (1808-1889) in Cheshire, England, where they had three children (Martha, Edward and Joseph) between 1837 and 1847. In the early 1840's George and Jane Clayton joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1853 they traveled to Utah as Mormon Pioneers.

Membership in the GCFO is free and communication is maintained through email.
