Ethel M. Brough

Ethel M. Brough, B.A., is an experienced genealogical extractor who specializes in reading and transcribing difficult-to-read handwritten records of the 1500's to the 1800's in England. She has been involved in family history work since 1980 and has extracted thousands of names since then.

Ethel presently serves as an officer and genealogical extractor for the Brough Family Organization and the Nichols & Booth Family Organization. She is shown in the picture below searching microfilm records at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Alison U. Brough

Alison U. Brough, A.A.S., is an experienced genealogical researcher.

During 1997 to 2000, Alison worked as a secretary in the Library Attendant Unit of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. Since 2001 she has occasionally conducted American and English research for several ancestral family organizations.

In August 2014, Alison conducted a very successful research trip to England and Scotland for the Brough Family Organization and the Nichols & Booth Family Organization.
