Post-Doc @ Department of Science - UniversitĂ degli Studi "Roma Tre"
I am interested in the ecology and conservation of reptiles and amphibians. During my B.Sc. and M.Sc. studies, I focused on the phylogeography of European vipers and on behavioural syndromes in geckos. Throughout my academic training, I have participated in research projects investigating the ecology and life history of salamanders, newts, frogs (both native and invasive), and lizards. My PhD research examined the effects of anthropogenic pollution on wildlife using parthenogenetic invertebrates as model organisms, a line of research I continue to pursue as part of my postdoctoral work, which is mainly focused on Podarcis spp. lizards as models for ecology and conservation.
