ClassCharts Tweaks Privacy Policy

ClassCharts Tweaks is an unofficial browser extension that customises the ClassCharts student website and provides optional dashboard and study tools.

Information handled

The extension may process information already visible on the user’s ClassCharts pages, including the displayed student name, homework totals and behaviour information. Users may also voluntarily provide a profile image, sticky-note text, holiday information and extension preferences.

How information is used

This information is used only to provide the extension’s requested features, including dashboard widgets, profile customisation, sticky notes, appearance settings and saved preferences.

Storage

Extension preferences may be stored using Chrome synchronised storage. Profile images, sticky notes, widget positions, dashboard statistics and game scores may be stored using Chrome local storage. This information is not sent to or stored on the developer’s own server.

Data sharing

The developer does not sell user data or share it with third parties. Information is not used for advertising, credit decisions or purposes unrelated to the extension’s functionality.

Permissions

Access to ClassCharts and its subdomains is required to apply visual customisations, display extension tools and read the visible information needed for dashboard widgets. The extension does not access unrelated websites.

Data removal

Users can remove saved information through the extension’s available removal controls, by clearing the extension’s stored data, or by uninstalling the extension.

Children and school information

The extension is not operated by or affiliated with ClassCharts or Tes. It does not intentionally transmit student or school information to the developer.
