Stratford School

Founded in 1999, Stratford School has grown into one of California’s leading educational networks, serving nearly 10,000 students from preschool through high school. What began as an early childhood Chinese class has evolved into a comprehensive program offered at twenty-one campuses across the state. Through three pathways: Bilingual Immersion, After-School Enrichment, and K–12 World Language, students advance from preschool Mandarin to AP and Post-AP levels. 

The program’s success is driven by expert educators, intentional curriculum design, and meaningful cultural engagement. Students build strong skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while developing global awareness and cultural appreciation. Families choose Stratford for its academic rigor, well-structured language pathways, and authentic cultural immersion. Today, Mandarin has become a defining feature of Stratford’s identity, enriching school communities and preparing students to thrive as confident, culturally aware global citizens.
