The Redondo Union High School (RUHS) Chinese Program, offers a comprehensive, proficiency-based sequence from Chinese 1 through AP Chinese. Grounded in equitable access and real-world communication, students develop linguistic confidence and cultural competence through engaging instruction, festivals and performances, field trips, and community partnerships. Student leadership flourishes in National Chinese Honor Society (NCHS) and community service that connect learning to the wider community. Supported by dedicated educators and strong district leadership, the program continues to expand and inspire, empowering students to embrace Mandarin and Chinese culture with passion, pride, and purpose.
