Personal Statement
My name is Clara Stover, and I am a transfer OF/UTL and Slapper. I currently play for the Lady Dukes 18u - Swope and Temple University, and attended high school at North Allegheny. I have over 12 years of experience playing softball and this rewarding game has taught me many lessons in life. I have always placed softball high on my list and have sacrificed many other activities, so I wouldn't miss practice or games, even if they are optional. While playing sports I have learned that I am very competitive, work hard, have accountability, and am a team player. I have also developed confidence with my decisions, looking forward to tough practices, and focusing on the positive.
I have been a multi-sport scholar-athlete every year and was an all honors student. I was the vice president of the class council for my grade at North Allegheny (3 years total), and I was in National Honors Society and National Technical Honors Society. I am currently a member of Temple's softball team, EMT club, pre-physical therapy club, and exercise science club. I am very ambitious about my academics as well as my sports and have high goals for college, looking to major in Physical Therapy. I am very interested in a PWO if an opportunity was available, and truly appreciate your time and possible interest!
