This is the product of my first attempt at tablet weaving following the instructions in the book. I didn't realize until I got to the end of the instructions that it was for backstrap and not inkle loom. So I decided to try with it tied to a belt since I had set up the cards. I had trouble with tension and figuring out the mechanics with it attached to me and a doorknob.

Lady Ava Deinhardt taught a class May 4, 2022 at Shire or Roxbury Mill on warping an inkle loom for tablet weaving using fishing swivels to release twist. This is what I produced based on starting the warp in Lady Ava's class. Yes, it has mistakes. Yes, it's shorter than it could be. Not a bad first attempt.
