Inkle Loom

7/3/2021 Baroness Ysabeau ferch Gwalchaved (Julia Sparks) provided the materials (8/4 carpet warp cotton) and the patient explanation to warp my loom the first time.

7/10/2021 First time warping the loom by myself. Size 0 crochet cotton. I had to cut this one short because the pattern went wrong because I hadn't double checked that the warp was uniform throughout and some strings got transposed.

7/17/2021 Size 0 crochet cotton. I warped a similar pattern using what I learned the week before about double checking the pattern of warp and this one resulted in 63" of "chain" pattern. I am replacing metallic commercial trim on an old dress-length T-tunic with this hand woven inkle.
