I know because although I specialise in Anxiety and Depression I’ve worked with hundreds of people who are experiencing psychological distress. Whatever their difficulties, although each persons recovery is unique to them, people do get better.

People are ‘relational’ we are ‘programmed’ by nature to seek support from others particularly in times of need but we often don’t because we think we will ‘burden’ other people with our troubles. But the truth is that by keeping all that distress to yourself you carry the weight of it on your own and that can feel like a very lonely and hopeless place to be….
The good news is that you can feel better.

My name is Claire and I am a Person Centred Counsellor and mindfulness practitioner and I love my job.
I provide a safe and confidential space and quality, non-judgemental care you can trust to help you understand yourself more deeply, make positive changes and better cope with whatever life throws at you.
I work from my comfortable, private therapy room in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Therefore I am within easy reach of Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield and Leeds areas.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework.
