Welcome! I'm Claire Bishop, an elementary educator based in Ridgefield, CT. With over 20 years of experience in the UK and U.S., I specialize in literacy, math intervention, and inclusive education. I'm passionate about helping every child thrive.

I’ve had the joy of teaching in schools in London, Washington, DC, and now in Ridgefield, CT, where I’ve raised my children and supported local students as a classroom teacher, long-term sub, and interventionist.

My work has included Fundations, Aimsweb Plus, NWEA MAP, Bridges Math Intervention, and MTSS. I care deeply about building inclusive, structured classrooms where every child can succeed.

With over 20 years in education, I’ve taught in a wide variety of settings — from international schools in London and Washington, DC to public elementary schools in Ridgefield, CT.

  Long-term Substitute – K–5 across multiple Ridgefield schools
