ClaimForge keeps a record of what you own, what its warranty says, and what you did about it when

something broke. That record is yours. This page explains, in plain terms, where it lives and the one

situation in which anything leaves your phone.

1. No account, no profile, no tracking

There is no sign-up and no login. ClaimForge does not ask for your name, email address, phone number

or payment details, and it has no way to identify you. The app contains no analytics library, no

advertising library and no attribution or measurement code, so nothing about how you use it is

counted, reported or sent anywhere.

2. Where your records are kept

Purchases, warranty dates, serial numbers, receipt locations, private notes, cases, correspondence

entries, assistant sessions, statistics and settings are written to a single file inside the app's

own container on your device. That container is not shared with other apps and is not synced to any

server by us. Removing ClaimForge deletes the file and everything in it; there is no copy elsewhere

for us to hold, hand over or restore.

3. The assistant, and exactly what it sends

ClaimForge includes an optional assistant that drafts claim letters, reads warranty terms you paste

in, extracts fields from an order confirmation you paste in, and answers questions. It is the only

part of the app that uses the network. Nothing is sent until you agree to a notice explaining this

and then press a button that starts a request.

When you do, the text of that request is transmitted to OpenAI and processed by the gpt-4o-mini model

so a reply can be produced. The request always carries what you typed or pasted for that feature. If

you have left "Include item details in AI requests" switched on in Settings, it also carries the

record of the item you selected: product name, brand and model, category, store, purchase date,

warranty term and status, receipt status, and the serial number and order code. With that switch off

no stored item field is attached at all, and the serial number and the receipt or order code in

particular never leave the device. Your private notes, your statistics and any item you did not

select are never included.

The app sends no identifier of you or your device along with the request. OpenAI's handling of the

Turning the switch off, or simply not using the assistant, keeps ClaimForge entirely offline.

4. Reminders

If you allow notifications, ClaimForge schedules them locally, on the device, from dates you entered.

No reminder is routed through a server and no push token is registered or shared.

5. Deleting what you have stored

Settings contains a Reset All Data action that erases every stored record immediately. Deleting the

app has the same effect. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing further to request,

correct or export from us.

6. Children

ClaimForge is written for adults handling their own purchases and consumer claims. It is not directed

at children under 13 and does not knowingly gather information from them.

7. Updates to this policy

If the app's data handling changes, this document is revised and the date at the top is updated. The

version shipped inside the app under Settings always matches this one.

8. Legal note
