Thanks for visiting here!
I am working at AI/ML in Apple as a Machine Learning Engineer since 2022. Within the broad spectrum of AI computing, my interests lie in on-device AI/ML systems and multi-modal interaction with mobile devices. My research has been published in top-tier conferences such as ICLR, MobiSys, CHI, UbiComp, SenSys, and CSCW. In particular, I enjoy practical research and implementation of fully functioning prototypes for real deployment. Prior to joining Apple, I was an AI Research Scientist at ZEKU and a Research Scientist at IBM. I conducted research studies about computational photography and efficient neural networks. In 2016, I received Google Ph.D. Fellowship as recognition for my research in mobile computing. I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from KAIST in 2018.
