BIOGRAPHY.

Julie the Echidna was born as Jacob before she transitioned during her time at Knothole Village. Her parents, Simon and Floral, hailed from the Twilight Cage. Wanting a better life, Simon used marauder technology to transport him and his wife to the prime zone and immigrated to Mobotropolis, where they had Julie.

Julie lived a peaceful life with her parents until Dr. Eggman seized control of Mobotropolis. While Simon managed to get out, Julie and Floral were trapped in their home as it burned to the ground. While Julie made it out with critical burns, her mother wasn’t able to get out. To save her life, her badly damaged body parts were replaced by cybernetic limbs.

While in Knothole with her father, Julie, in grief over Floral’s death as well as the adjustment to her cybernetic limbs, became rather bitter and angry and largely avoided by her peers. It was around this time when she became friends with Bunnie, another child who had to have her limbs replaced by cybernetic limbs, as well as the group of children that would become the Freedom Fighters.
