Samuel Roshan Abadeer is the genderswapped version of Sarah. Like all of the other gender-sweapped characters from his reality, Sarah was created by Prismo, who wanted to create a universe for himself instead of universes creating from other's wishes. However, because what he did was not allowed, Prismo stored his universe into the Ice King's head.
In the magic world, Samuel was the second oldest son of Hana Abadeer, ruler of the Nightosphere, and Elias, a human man. Much like Sarah, Samuel died sometime after he was born so Hana used magic to bring him back to life and from then on, was raised by Hana in the Nightosphere. As a child, his mother controlled almost every aspect of his life, leaving him with little ability to protest. Much like Sarah, Hana often treated Samuel as "the man of the house", with responsibilites which involved looking after his younger brother, Marsh (Marsha's counterpart). Finally, Samuel would end up running away when he was a teenager. He wandered for hundreds of years until he found a cabin to live in with Marsh. In the present day, Samuel was living with Marsh and his little brother Roscoe, Rosaline's counterpart, in the same cabin he found centuries ago much like Sarah. However, things changed when the Ice King wound up in Golb's stomach. There, Golb's digestive system reverted the Ice King's crown and reverted Ice King back to Simon. Because of Simon losing his magic, Samuelworld lost it's magic as well.
In this magicless world, Samuel is the second oldest son of Hana Abadeer, a real estate agent and landlord to the city’s apartments, and Elias, a stay-at-home dad. Instead of dying after birth, Samuel was born prematurely and spent his first few months in the hospital, struggling to survive. After his father died at an early age, Samuel was raised in his mom’s estate along with his brothers, Marshall, Marsh, and Roscoe. As far back as he could remember, his mother has planned out his life for him, leaving him with little ability to protest. This plan included Samuel attending college in order to get a business degree. During his first year at college, however, Samuel suffered from a severe anxiety episode triggered by not only his (undiagnosed) anxiety disorder but also from the weight of his mother's expectations. Samuel ultimately dropped out of college, much to his mother's disappointment. He ended up moving into an apartment with Marsh the moment the younger brother turned 18. Samuel now works at a flower shop, helping Marsh cover the rent.
