CitySips provides an app that helps you discover bars and specials.
Information we collect
Account info: email, username, display name, profile photo.
Location: precise location when you grant permission (to show nearby bars/map).
Content & activity: favorites, “going” status, friends you add.
Diagnostics/usage: basic logs and crash data to keep the app reliable.
How we use information
To provide core features (map, distance sorting, favorites, friends).
To secure accounts and prevent abuse.
To improve performance and fix bugs.
Sharing
We don’t sell your data. We use service providers (e.g., Supabase, Mapbox) to run the app; they process data on our behalf under contract.
Your choices
You can turn off Location in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services.
You can request data deletion by emailing citysipsbusiness@gmail.com from the account email; we’ll delete your profile and associated content.
Data retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account or we delete inactive accounts per policy.
Children
CitySips is for users 18+.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit. No security is perfect.
