Every year we review our Societies' performance against key factors such as attendance, inter-Society collaboration and Convenors' engagement with SA training. Based on this, we award Societies either Bronze, Silver or Gold status (see here for current Active Society Award ratings). Achieving each award unlocks increasing benefits such as:
Access to more funding for Society events and resources (up to £200 at Gold level)
Increased independence, e.g. ability to hold elections for Convenors at Gold level, rather than having them appointed by the SA
Society member discounts on SA merch

Criteria
Convenor has completed induction and training
Society has completed set-up, including promotion and advertising materials
Yearly Planner completed
5 active members signed up to society
Rewards
Access to up to £50 worth of funding
Digital badge added to Society's advertising material and platforms
Silver Award
Silver Award
Criteria
Convenor has participated in active recruitment of society members
3 meetings planned in Bronze have been successfully hosted
1 event/campaign/activity has been facilitated
Convenor has attended SA Awareness training (i.e Gender Based Violence, Active Bystander, LGBTQ+ inclusivity)
Rewards
Access to up to £100 worth of funding
Digital badge added to Society's advertising material and platforms
10% discount on SA merch for Society members

Criteria
6 meetings planned in Bronze have been facilitated
Society can show consistent track record of membership retention
Society has collaborated with at least one other Society for an event/activity/campaign.
At least 1 additional member as well as the Convenor has attended SA Awareness training (i.e Gender Based Violence, Active Bystander, LGBTQ+ inclusivity)
Rewards

Digital badge added to Society's advertising material and platforms
