VDM refers to running over a player in a manner that would be unrealistic or unfair. This also implies running someone over without a role-play reason with a Vehicle . An act in which a person uses his vehicle as a weapon in order to protect his own life from any direct or immediate threat, will not be considered VDM. A direct or immediate threat in this section is defined as any individual who actively attempts to take your life at the moment. If a person who attempts to kill you, but falls short of completing the act, tries to flee the scene, he is no longer considered a direct threat to your life.​

Attempting to kill, or kill, or killing, a player without a valid roleplay reason

While FailRP is quite a broad term, it generally describes any action that is deemed unrealistic or failure to roleplay such as excessive combat rolling. This term can be applied to many things, all of which are against the rules.

This term is applied to situations where you should be fearing for your life. An example of this would be being held at gunpoint. When FearRP applies, you shouldn’t attempt to retaliate, as when you fear for your life you would do anything to keep yourself alive.

A powergamer is a roleplay whose main interest revolves around going on a power trip. They often enjoy portraying characters such as, but not limited to: Powerful wizards, all knowing in every special ability, etc. Powergamers often never display any flaws or weaknesses in their characters.

This is not accepted at Mischief Managed – you most certainly may be skilled, but you must be realistic in your character development. It is dealt with OOC consequences.

Powergaming is a term that describes performing unrealistic roleplay or forcing roleplay on others without giving them the opportunity to resist or fight back. All in all, when a player loses control of their character unwillingly due to another players action, the other player could be powergaming.

Kill on Sight is a term used to describe a roleplay scenario in-which you just kill or attack a player with performing a proper roleplay. Kill on Sight is only permitted when the player you’re attacking had previously threatened your life in the past 24 hours where NLR hasn’t been triggered (this excludes weapons aimed by law enforcement), a theft of item(s) valuing more than $75,000 (excluding vehicles), or if the life of your close friend or ally is threatened and you've witnessed this happen. (You must perform a Quality RP before doing any KOS)

The term is generally used when a vehicle driving unrealistically, meaning in a situation that puts themselves into harm’s way. This could be driving off-road or in dangerous terrain.

When you respawn, you forget how you died, and who killed you. You also forget all events leading up to your death. And even if someone reminds you, you are not allowed to go to the same situation (what-so-ever it might be). For Cop-Character it is strictly prohibited to go on the same situation after taking New-Life, Never, no time limit they cannot continue the same gun-fight roleplay.

It implies that you are dealing with self-harm. STRICTLY FORBIDDEN, will be banned.

Roleplay Logging, or Combat Logging, is a term that is used to refer to those players that log off off or go AFK during active roleplay. If your game crashes, you must return to the game as soon as possible and inform the players you were roleplaying with that you are experiencing issues. If you are unable to contact the players involved in the roleplay scenario occurring before your crash, gather evidence to prove you are actually experiencing issues preventing you from returning and contacting members involved in case you are reported . Logging out to prevent/avoid roleplay, combat or death. This is taken seriously as it ruins entire RP situations

A No Crime Zone (NCZ) is a term and rule used to describe “safe-zones” or zones in the server where crimes may not be committed under any circumstances. If you are arrested/detained or around police officers and interacting with them you cannot speak through any 3rd party software. The same logic also applies if you are taken hostage, you may only communicate via 3rd party software if you relay what you are saying in-game also. Generally, anything you say through a piece of 3rd Party Software should always be spoken in-game when around other players. This is deemed FailRP and is also usually very obvious if this rule is broken.

You must tell the truth about what happened (Stabbled, Gunshots, Runover) if you don’t this will be deemed as Fail RP

If you kill a cop then you should not be hanging around their dead body. This is FailRP, IRL if you killed a cop(s) then you would not be hanging around, your main priority would be to make an escape/get out the area ASAP.

If you wish to rob another player, you cannot take their money/belongings and then kill them. In general, you cannot kill someone who is compliant with you during a robbery. This will be considered FailRP as they have complied with you throughout.

You cannot take someone to a bank/ATM to withdraw money, It will be considered as Power Gaming

There must be at least 2 officers online to be able to hold up a player. An exception to this rule is in drug locations. To rob/hold up an officer, there must be at least 2 additional officers online to the one you are targeting/

You cannot rob or kidnap the same player more than once in a 3 hour period.

Anything other than a melee weapon, or a pistol, you must always roleplay it out using /me Pulls out (weapon), /me Unracks (weapon).

If you wish to kidnap a player there must be at least 2 officers online.

If you wish to kidnap a police officer/EMS there must be at least two online in addition to the one you are kidnapping.

The maximum you can demand a hostage is $5,000 for a civilian and $10,000 for a police officer/EMS

Surrounding your RP with robbing every player you see is not allowed (shitty RP)

You are not allowed to use the information gained from watching a stream for your in-game character. This is considered metagaming and will result in a ban.

You must Blind your stream when you are at drug locations.

Whilst in-game, if you do, anything that happens whilst you are gone is your own responsibility. If you come across an AFK player then whilst it is their own responsibility do not kill, harm or mess with them.

So do not use the character models that are associated with emergency services.

You cannot chain rob stores or banks, please use common sense

Any player in the server, or outside of the server caught bullying, harassing will be dealt with accordingly with.

Wearing masks in populated areas, same with weapons if you are not using a weapon, it should not be publicly displayed there’s a time and place for it.

Please use realistic names and do not use Celebrity names and Abusive Names are not at all allowed.

Between your characters, there must not be any interactions. For instance, you are not allowed to transfer or give money between them. Doing this with a middle-man is also not allowed, and will lead to a ban.​ Also, creating multiple characters and deleting them again and repeating so without reason will also lead to Permanent BAN

5.1. In Bank / Store Robbery, only 4 people are allowed.

5.2. You cannot have two vehicles as your “RUN-AWAY VEHICLES” in any Bank/Store Robbery Situation,

5.3. For any other criminal activities e.g. Gang War, Drug Sale, CODE RED, 6 people are allowed, NOT more than 6.

5.4. When taking hostages, you must provide high-quality roleplay and stick to the storyline.

5.5. You are not allowed to use your friends or gang members as hostages. Hostages must be players that have no idea what you are planning.​

5.6. When the police turn their sirens’ lights on to pull you over, roleplay is not initiated. This means that you cannot start shooting at police just for attempting to pull you over. CityLife Roleplay India do not support such bad roleplay, Such actions will be classed as clear RDM.​

5.7. When robbing someone, all you can take is currently what’s in their inventory. This means that you cannot request bank transfers or force them to sell their car(s) to you.

5.8. You cannot do /me Taking the Officer's Tracker to the officer when he’s down. And even if he is alive, you are not allowed to use this type of command, you can gun-point on him and force him to turn his tracker off. Yes Of-course, you can snatch his communication devices but you don't know where he has kept his tracker so don't use the command.

5.9. You may not camp the weed farm with the purpose of robbing the players when they land.​

5.10. Criminals should strictly follow NLR (New Life Rule)

5.11. For Bank Robbery, You can Demand maximum $20,000 for Civilian (Hostage) and $30,000 for Cop (Hostage). But remember when taking Cop as a Hostage , you must provide solid roleplay for it, you cannot randomly make cops as a Hostage.

For Store Robbery, You can get Random Amount for it by cracking the Vault Once Only , You should not spam it more than 1. Thereafter it will result in 5 minute cooldown, so you cannot spam it again. And same for taking cop as a hostage, must provide solid roleplay behind it.

RP it Out for Store Robbery, And For Bank Robbery you must message Cops that you have a hostage.

And City has more jobs, more roleplay to do rather than Bank Robbery and Store Robbery, so please explore the city when its out. DON'T TRY TO MAKE IT AS ROBBERY SIMULATOR. Many Jobs to do, Explore and provide Quality RP

5.12 This rule is Implemented for Avoiding Poor RP and enhancing Quality RP

You are NOT ALLOWED to Call Taxi Driver, Mechanic, Police , EMS, or any Whitelisted Job Employee and Make him Hostage. This is Baiting , Kind of Fail RP and it has Ban

You can do Quality RP and in revenge you can make them Hostage but not without roleplay

6.1. Only 6 Cops are allowed in the city. High Command can extend it in EMERGENCY

6.2. In any Robbery Chase only 5 Units are allowed specified below:

a) Minimum 3-5 Cars
b) Max 1-Bike
c) If suspect having Sports car, then max 1 Helicopter

6.3. Police equipment (weapons, items, etc) are not to be exchanged with players outside of the force. This is only acceptable if there is solid roleplay behind it.​

6.4. Tasers (non-lethal force) should be used unless there is a direct danger to surrounding officers or civilians or otherwise instructed by a high-ranking officer. Otherwise, lethal force can be used to terminate the danger.​

6.5. The police role should not be abused to help friends.​

6.6 When going off-duty as an officer, you are to dispose of any equipment and vehicles that you got from the police department. You may also not get equipment from the PD while off-duty.​

6.7. Cops can revive people if no EMS is currently online.​

6.8. Cops should strictly follow NLR (New Life Rule).
