Welcome to City Junction, a platform operated by Rahul Choudhary (CEO, LAST-IN). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our mobile application (City Junction), and any related services, sales, marketing, or events.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or when you participate in activities on the App.
A. Personal Data Provided by You during Registration:
Full Name, Email Address, Year of Birth (DOB), and Gender.
State and District (for regional cataloging and service accuracy).
Mobile Number (Authenticated via Supabase Authentication).
Referral Code and User Referral Code (for our partner and bonus programs).
B. Service-Specific Information:
Property Listings: When you list a property for rent, sale, or buy, we collect property images, description, pricing, property contact number, and the precise or approximate location of the property.
Home Services & Car Rentals: When booking a service (e.g., plumber, electrician, AC/RO service, or car rental), we collect your Booking Time, Specific Address, and Location so that the independent service provider can reach you to complete the service.
Partner Program: If you apply for the Partner Plan, we may collect your UPI ID or Mobile Number (PhonePe/Google Pay number) solely for processing your earned commission and revenue-sharing payouts.
C. Device and Security Data:
Secure Authentication: We support "Continue with Google" and "Continue with Apple" via Supabase Auth. Sensitive authentication tokens are securely encrypted and stored on your device using Flutter Secure Storage.
Location Data: We request location access only in the foreground (while the app is actively open and being used) to attach locations to property listings or home service bookings. We DO NOT track your location in the background.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:
To Facilitate Account Creation and Logon Process: Handled securely via Supabase.
To Enable User-to-User Communication: We provide a property-based chat system. Users have the option to hide their phone numbers and communicate strictly via app chat.
To Process Services and Bookings: To connect you with local home service providers and car rental companies.
To Manage Partner Commission Payouts: To calculate and distribute the designated percentage of commission profit shares to accepted Partners.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
To provide smooth performance, our application integrates with reliable third-party infrastructure providers:
Supabase: For secure cloud database storage, authentication, and user data management.
Firebase (Cloud Messaging): Used strictly for sending push notifications regarding chat messages, updates, and booking statuses.
Google Maps API: Used to render map views, help users pick addresses, and pinpoint property or service locations.
4. LEGAL DISCLAIMER & MIDDLEWARE LIABILITY
City Junction operates strictly as an intermediary digital platform (middleware) connecting users, property listers, and independent service vendors.
No Direct Transactions: The App does not feature an online payment gateway. All payments for home services or property transactions are conducted directly between the users via Cash on Delivery (COD) or physical settlement upon service completion.
Verification Liability: We do not legally verify the legal status, titles, or physical condition of listed properties or background checks of vendors. It is the absolute and sole responsibility of the user to legally check, verify, and confirm all details before entering into a transaction or purchase. City Junction / LAST-IN holds zero liability for any external disputes, losses, or legal misconduct between users.
5. USER GENERATED CONTENT (UGC) & CHAT SAFETY
To maintain a secure ecosystem for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store ecosystems:
Our app features a property-based chat structure with built-in Block and Report mechanisms.
Any user engaging in harassment, scam listings, or malicious behavior can be blocked instantly by other users and reported to administration for strict profiling and account termination.
6. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION
We keep your personal information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy.
Account Deletion Right: In absolute compliance with Google and Apple policies, users can request account deletion at any time directly through the Delete Account button located inside the Profile section of the App.
Processing Time: Upon triggering the deletion request, City Junction will permanently purge all your personal profile records, database fields, and metadata from our Supabase servers within 4 to 5 working days.
