The City Honors School rowing program dates back to 1986 when a group of junior and senior women at City Honors organized a team at the West Side Rowing Club. We continue to be one of the only public schools in Western New York with our own team. Led by dedicated, experienced coaches, supported by devoted, enthusiastic parents.
City Honors Crew competes in local, national, and international regattas— a unique high school athletic experience.
Athletes with at least 1 full year of competitive rowing, subject to coach's discretion
Athletes with less than 1 full year of rowing, 8th grade or older
Please join us for a parent and rower open house at West Side Rowing Club from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. At this event, we will discuss the upcoming season including practice and regatta schedules. Board members and coaches will be available to answer any questions parents or rowers have regarding the club. At this event we will also be collecting insurance information and waiver forms. This is also a social event including refreshments to allow parents and rowers to meet and re-connect in a casual setting.
