Every year, millions of birds are killed when they fly into windows. City Bird was created in collaboration with the New Hope Bird Alliance to bring awareness of this important issue to our community and to create a citizen science project that monitors bird-window collisions in the Triangle area (mostly Chapel Hill, Raleigh) of NC, USA. You can support us by volunteering and following us on social media. City Bird was created in August 2022 by Jin Bai, the community science committee chair of New Hope Bird Alliance. Our project aims to provide critical data needed to convince policymakers and building managers to make buildings safer for birds.
