Hello! My name is Monica Ritter, and Lafayette County has been my home for over 28 years. 

For the past 24 years, I've owned and operated a small business here, giving me firsthand experience in the challenges that small business owners face. I understand the importance of creating an environment where our local businesses can thrive and contribute to the growth of our communities.

Trust, integrity, and honesty are not just words to me—they are the principles that guide my life and work. As County Commissioner, I will uphold these values and work diligently to ensure transparency and accountability in local government. I will prioritize fiscal responsibility, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently to benefit our community.

My family has tilled the soil of Lafayette County for six generations, instilling in me a deep respect for our land. Preserving our agricultural heritage and sustaining our rural way of life are priorities close to my heart. I am committed to responsible stewardship and preserving our rural way of life for future generations.

Supporting our schools and educators is vital to the success of our communities. As County Commissioner, I will prioritize funding for our schools and advocate for our hardworking teachers and staff who play a critical role in shaping the future of Lafayette County.
