CITADELS

Imagine a small town, inside a regenerative farm.

Definition (old): cit-a-del / noun / a fortress, typically on high ground, protecting a city

Definition (new): cit-a-del / noun / walkable community (village, town, small city) encompassed by buffer zones operated as regenerative agriculture farm, designed to protect residents and property/property values during extreme weather, make their lifestyles more affordable and resilient.

Ramparts protect against threats

The original citadels used earthworks to provide much needed buffers against invading armies. Now our communities need buffers for carbon storage and to protect against drought, excessive rainfall, and wildfire.

Walkable Communities + Regenerative Agriculture

CITADELS has devised the economics to make citadels and green ramparts a viable part of our sustainable future, just like solar panels, wind farms, and battery electric vehicles.
