PRIVACY POLICY FOR CIRCUIT BASTION

1. INTRODUCTION
Circuit Bastion ("Circuit Bastion," "the App," "we," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, why certain device permissions are available, how local game data is stored, and the choices available to you.
Circuit Bastion is designed as an offline strategy game. It does not require an account and does not sell personal information.
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
Circuit Bastion does not collect or transmit your name, email address, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, browsing history, financial information, health information, or the contents of your photo library.
The App does not use third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, behavioral profiling, or device fingerprinting. It does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
3. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The App stores the following game information locally on your device:
- Campaign progress, mission results, achievements, mastery progress, and unlocked modules.
- Saved loadouts, module upgrades, level-editor projects, and imported level cards.
- Daily challenge results, local leaderboard entries, and combat history.
- Audio, combat-feedback, tutorial-progress, and other game preferences.
- Temporary recovery data for an interrupted battle.
This information is used only to provide game functions. It remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it. You can remove it by using Reset Campaign in Settings or by deleting the App.
4. CAMERA ACCESS
Camera access is optional and is requested only after you choose Scan with Camera. The camera is used to read a Circuit Bastion QR level card and import the encoded level configuration. Camera frames are processed for the scan and are not stored by the App or uploaded by Circuit Bastion.
You can deny or revoke camera access in iOS Settings. All campaign, workshop, and manually created level functions remain available without camera access.
5. PHOTO LIBRARY ACCESS
Photo Library read access is optional and is requested only after you choose to import a saved Circuit Bastion QR level card. The selected image is processed to decode the level card. Circuit Bastion does not browse, collect, or upload other images in your library.
Photo Library add access is optional and is requested only after you choose to save a victory poster or QR level card. The App writes only the image you explicitly asked it to save.
You can deny or revoke Photo Library access in iOS Settings. The underlying game remains playable without this permission.
6. SHARING AND EXPORTS
When you choose Share Card, Export Combat Summary, or another system sharing action, Circuit Bastion passes the item you selected to the iOS share sheet. The destination service you choose is governed by its own privacy policy. Circuit Bastion does not receive information about the selected destination or how that service handles the item.
QR level cards may contain a level layout, gameplay budget, modifiers, a generated level code, and a local author label. Do not include personal information in an author label or level name.
7. NETWORK AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Core campaign, editor, tutorial, workshop, and history functions are available from local app content. The App does not transmit personal information for advertising or analytics.
Apple may process purchase, download, crash, and diagnostic information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Circuit Bastion does not control information that Apple collects as the App Store platform provider.
8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Local game data remains on your device until you reset progress, delete individual editor or history records where that option is available, or delete the App. Circuit Bastion does not maintain a server account or remote personal-data profile to delete.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Circuit Bastion is intended for a general audience. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no account is required and gameplay data stays on the device, we do not maintain profiles of child users.
10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your location, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and the General Data Protection Regulation may provide rights concerning personal information. Circuit Bastion does not maintain a server-side personal-data record. You may control or erase local game data through Settings, iOS permission controls, or by deleting the App.
11. SECURITY
Circuit Bastion uses platform storage and local integrity checks to reduce accidental corruption of saved games and QR level cards. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Do not use level names or author labels to store confidential or personal information.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's functions or legal requirements change. The Last Updated date will identify the current version. Material changes will be included in an App update or otherwise presented where required by law.

TERMS OF USE FOR CIRCUIT BASTION

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Circuit Bastion mobile application ("Circuit Bastion" or "the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. LICENSE GRANT
Subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store rules, Circuit Bastion grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control for private entertainment purposes.
The license does not transfer ownership of the App, its software, artwork, audio, game systems, or other content.
3. PERMITTED USE
You may:
- Play campaign, daily, endless, and editor content provided by the App.
- Create and save personal level layouts and loadouts.
- Export or share Circuit Bastion level cards, victory posters, and combat summaries through features provided by the App.
- Import compatible level cards shared by other users.
4. RESTRICTIONS
You may not:
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, bypass, modify, or attempt to extract source code, assets, security controls, or protected services, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
- Use the App to distribute malicious, unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content.
- Manipulate challenge records, scores, level-card integrity data, or other systems to misrepresent gameplay results.
- Use another person's personal information in a level name, author label, poster, or other exported content without permission.
- Remove copyright, attribution, or proprietary notices from the App.
5. USER-CREATED LEVEL CARDS
You retain rights you may have in original names or arrangements you create through the Level Editor. You grant Circuit Bastion the limited rights necessary to display, store locally, encode, decode, and export that content at your direction.
You are responsible for level names, author labels, and other text you create. Do not include unlawful content, confidential information, personal data, trademarks you do not have permission to use, or material that infringes another person's rights.
The App may reject a level card that is corrupted, incompatible, unsafe to parse, or fails gameplay validation.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Circuit Bastion, including its software, visual design, original 3D artwork, game rules as expressed in the App, text, audio, interface, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Circuit Bastion and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant permission to use the Circuit Bastion name, branding, artwork, or assets outside the personal sharing functions built into the App.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store and may use iOS services such as the camera, Photos, and the system share sheet after you request the corresponding function. Your use of Apple services and any sharing destination is subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
8. AVAILABILITY AND UPDATES
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue App features, compatibility, content, or support. Updates may be required for continued compatibility with iOS or imported level-card formats. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available forever or that every user-created level will remain compatible with future versions.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device configuration, or able to recover every damaged local save or imported level card.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CIRCUIT BASTION AND ITS LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, SAVED PROGRESS, PROFITS, OR OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or content you create and share through the App.
12. TERMINATION
These Terms remain effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms end automatically if you materially violate them. After termination, you must stop using and delete the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute terms, will survive.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the App's publisher, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
14. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS
These Terms are between you and Circuit Bastion, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable license terms after your acceptance. Your use of the App must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms when the App or legal requirements change. The Last Updated date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable App Store terms, form the entire agreement concerning your use of Circuit Bastion and replace prior discussions about that use.
