 I used to join mainly Independent Living movement of people with disabilities, but I have few opportunities to get to know people in other fields of minority other than the disabilities. 

I have had hoped to realize it someday. 

I have joined many kinds of events for socialization with various kinds of people, but I have had few chances to socialize with them, and felt isolated in their company, especially that was made by the people without any disabilities. 

I have this kind of experience because of my disabilities, but I believe some people without any disabilities also have the same experience like this for other reasons. 

So, I made my decision, and I started my new society for interaction named “Unite”. 

The name Unite stands for many kinds of bond made by any kinds of various people. 

I would love to cherish such bond. 

These days, we have few chances to socialize due to corona virus, which strongly reminded me of the importance of this activity. 

We aim to share our own background and socialize with each other those who are including 

・people with disabilities 

・Korean residents in Japan 

・people from overseas 

・people from children’s home 

・people who are feeling discriminated or have some kind of difficulty in socializing due to their origin or birthplace 

・and any other people with various background 

Our goal is to save ourselves from isolation, and make our new bond to share it with other kinds of people. 

We hold various kinds of seasonal events about every second month. The events include cherry blossom viewing, BBQ, or enjoying local popular food at various sightseeing spots. 

With these various kinds of activity, 

we create our own nice days for everyone. 

We discuss our events along with our participants as well and plan some recreation, 

so that everyone can socialize and enjoy our company.
