Cinevo Privacy Policy

Cinevo (“Cinevo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile short-drama streaming application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Cinevo.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Account information, including a guest account identifier or information provided through Google or Apple sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile image, and provider identifier.

• Usage information, including watch history, playback progress, searches, saved dramas, likes, reports, check-ins, missions, coin balances, episode unlocks, and transaction records.

• Device and technical information, including device model, operating system, app version, language, region, IP address, advertising identifier, app instance identifiers, notification tokens, and analytics events.

• Purchase information, including product IDs, transaction IDs, purchase tokens, and purchase status. Payment card and billing details are processed by Google Play and are not directly collected by Cinevo.

• Information you provide when contacting support, such as your email address and details about your request.

Cinevo does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or personal files.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve video streaming, authenticate users, synchronize accounts, save watch progress and library items, process coin purchases and episode unlocks, provide rewards, send notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, analyze app performance, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Cinevo, including authentication providers, cloud hosting and backend providers, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Mobile Ads, and Google Play Billing. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our services, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a business transfer.

4. Advertising and Consent

Cinevo may display rewarded, interstitial, and app-open advertisements. Depending on your location and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required, we request consent before serving personalized advertising. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.

5. Local Storage

Cinevo may store authentication tokens, app settings, language preferences, home content cache, playback settings, and temporarily cached media on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes locally stored information, but server-side account data may remain until you request account deletion.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

You can request account deletion from the Profile section in Cinevo. You may also email cinevo-support@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We will delete account-associated personal data from our active systems within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Certain records held by payment or analytics providers may be retained according to their policies.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted data transmission, access controls, secure authentication, and app integrity protections. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

Cinevo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us at cinevo-support@gmail.com to submit a privacy request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be made available in Cinevo and will include a revised “Last updated” date.
