CineSpace Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 22, 2026
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
Welcome to CineSpace.
CineSpace (hereinafter referred to as “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a local video vault application. Users can use the App to import, store, organize, protect, manage, and play videos on their devices.
We value user privacy. CineSpace operates locally and does not require users to create an account. We do not collect, upload, transmit, sell, or share users’ personal information or video content.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how CineSpace handles device permissions and locally stored information.
1. Information We Collect
CineSpace does not collect or transmit users’ personal information to our servers.
We do not collect the following information:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account information;
- Precise or approximate location information;
- Contacts, text messages, or call records;
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers;
- Browsing history or search history;
- App usage analytics or interaction data;
- Crash reports uploaded to our servers;
- Users’ photos, videos, files, or other user-generated content.
CineSpace does not require users to register an account, and we do not operate cloud servers or databases for storing user information.
2. Access to Local Videos and Files
To provide the core features of the video vault, CineSpace may request permission to access photos, videos, media files, file directories, or storage on the user’s device.
These permissions are used only to:
- Select and import videos;
- Store and organize videos within the App;
- Play locally stored videos;
- Rename, move, export, or delete videos;
- Save exported videos to a location selected by the user;
- Protect videos using the security features provided by the App.
CineSpace only accesses files actively selected by the user or file locations for which the user has explicitly granted access.
Users’ videos and related file information are stored only on their devices and are not uploaded or transmitted to us.
Users may revoke the relevant permissions at any time through their device settings. Some features may no longer function properly after the required permissions are revoked.
3. Password Protection
CineSpace may allow users to protect the App and the videos stored within it using password verification.
The App only receives the result of whether verification was successful or unsuccessful.
Users are responsible for keeping their password secure. Because we do not store user passwords on a remote server, we may be unable to help recover a forgotten password or restore access to protected local files.
4. Local Storage and Security
Users’ videos, thumbnails, file names, folder information, App settings, and other related information may be stored locally on their devices.
CineSpace uses reasonable technical measures provided by the device to help protect locally stored content. However, no device, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for:
- Keeping their devices secure;
- Protecting their device passwords and CineSpace access passwords;
- Backing up important files when necessary;
- Preventing unauthorized access to their devices.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, exchange, disclose, or share users’ personal information or locally stored videos with third parties.
When users actively use an export or sharing feature, the selected files may be sent to an application, service, contact, or storage location chosen by the user. Such actions are initiated and controlled entirely by the user.
Once files are transferred to a third-party application or service, the privacy policy of that third party will apply instead of this Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because CineSpace does not collect or store user information on remote servers, we do not retain users’ personal information outside their devices.
Local information remains stored on the user’s device until the user:
- Deletes videos or files within the App;
- Clears CineSpace’s App data through device settings;
- Deletes the relevant files using a file management application;
- Uninstalls CineSpace;
- Resets or erases the device.
Uninstalling the App or clearing App data may permanently delete videos stored in CineSpace’s private application directory.
Because we cannot access users’ devices or local files, we cannot remotely view, recover, modify, or delete such files.
7. Children’s Privacy
CineSpace is not specifically designed for children below the minimum age required by applicable local laws.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. All videos and related App information are processed and stored locally on the user’s device.
Parents or legal guardians should supervise children’s use of the device and ensure that any content stored in the App is appropriate and lawful.
8. User Responsibilities
Users may only import, store, process, export, or share content that they own or are legally authorized to use.
Users must not use CineSpace to store or distribute illegal, infringing, harmful, or unauthorized content.
We do not monitor content stored locally by users and are not responsible for content created, imported, stored, or shared by users.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when CineSpace’s features, permissions, data-handling practices, or legal obligations change.
The updated Privacy Policy will display a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required by law, we may also provide notice within the App.
By continuing to use CineSpace after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective, users acknowledge the updated policy.
