Cinebench offers a real-world benchmark that incorporates a user's common tasks while using Cinema 4D and Redshift to measure a system's performance.

Cinebench 2024 will not execute on unsupported processors. On systems lacking sufficient RAM to load the test scene, a warning will be displayed, and the CPU and/or GPU benchmark will not be executed.

Anyone who needs to evaluate hardware performance should add Maxon Cinebench to the test tool arsenal.System administrators can use Cinebench to help make purchase decisions, journalists can use the results in reviewing hardware, hardware manufacturers may utilize the feedback in optimizing their latest products. Any computer owner can evaluate his or her individual system. Unlike abstract benchmarks, which only test specific functions of CPUs or GPUs, Cinebench offers a real-world benchmark that incorporates a user's common tasks within CINEMA 4D to measure a system's performance. For those who have to do a serious amount of testing Cinebench also provides a command line option, allowing users to run automated test procedures.

Maxon, developers of professional software solutions for editors, filmmakers, motion designers, visual effects artists and creators of all types, is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated release of Cinebench 2024. This latest iteration of the industry-standard benchmarking software, which has been a cornerstone in computer performance evaluation for two decades, sets a new standard for performance evaluation, embracing cutting-edge technology to provide artists, designers, and creators with a more accurate and relevant representation of their hardware capabilities.

Cinebench 2024 reinstates GPU benchmarking, a feature absent from Cinebench for the past decade. The latest version not only evaluates CPU performance; it also provides insights into the GPU's capabilities, reflecting the evolving technological landscape of creative software and workflows.

Cinebench 2024 streamlines the benchmarking process by utilizing a consistent scene file for both CPU and GPU testing. This innovation enables users to discern the advantages of leveraging Redshift GPU, providing a real-world glimpse into the benefits of harnessing cutting-edge graphics hardware for rendering tasks.

Beyond the surface, Cinebench 2024 brings forth a host of performance-enhancing features. With a threefold increase in memory footprint compared to Cinebench R23, the software caters to the memory-intensive demands of modern projects. Moreover, a six-fold rise in computational effort and utilization of newer instruction sets ensures a benchmark that resonates with the complexity and sophistication of contemporary creative projects.

Note: Test results can vary slightly because it's impossible to disable every background task of the operating system. These tasks are one factor that may have a slight influence on measurements. Also, modern computers and graphics cards dynamically adjust clock speeds based on environmental conditions like power and temperature. For instance, processors will reduce clock speed when running too hot to allow for cooling and prevent damage. With many modern processors, the reverse is also true. They are able to overclock themselves when the temperature is low enough. Therefore, a system freshly started in a relatively cool environment will typically run faster than the same system that has been performing benchmarks for several hours in a heated office.

This page hosts over 250+ Cinebench scores for releases R20, 2023 and the brand-new 2024. Cinebench is a benchmarking tool created by Maxon that assesses the performance of a computer's CPU and GPU using real-world 3D rendering tasks. The results provide insights into a system's capability in rendering and graphics tasks.

The above are Multi Score benchmarks for over 250 processors. You can use the filters to refine your search or limit the number of results. *: The score was calculated based on earlier benchmark versions. While these are less precise, they still provide a reasonable estimate of what the score might be.

Ignoring the occasional outlier, viewport performance in Cinema 4D has been increasing very slowly, but continually from R20 to 2023. Cinema 4D 2024, especially, almost doubles viewport performance in our benchmark scene!

Keep in mind that the benchmark results in this article are strictly for Cinema 4D and that performance will vary widely in different applications. If your workflow includes other software packages, we highly recommend checking out our 13th Gen Intel Core Processors Content Creation Review article which includes results and links to in-depth testing for a range of other applications including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom Classic, DaVinci Resolve, and Unreal Engine.

Maxon is releasing Cinebench 2024, an upgraded benchmarking tool, as part of its Cinema 4D DCC program enhancements. This version aims to offer precise hardware evaluation for artists and creators by embracing advanced technology. Notably, it reintroduces GPU benchmarking, integrates the Redshift rendering engine for consistent CPU and GPU testing, and supports a wide range of hardware configurations. The software features a unified scene for testing, a revamped user interface, and significant under-the-hood improvements, including an increased memory footprint and computational effort. However, comparisons with Cinebench R23 scores are not straightforward due to Redshift integration in Cinebench 2024. Cinebench 2024 is available for download, enhancing hardware evaluation accuracy.

What do we think? Redshift is a GPU-accelerated renderer, used in contemporary high-end production rendering. The company originally offered a benchmark that prospective users of the Cinema 4D program could use to evaluate their hardware, to see if it could handle Cinema 4D, by using the renderer in the program. By using the powerful Redshift engine, a more realistic measurement can be made that will predict what a user can expect from their system if they use Cinema 4D.

Maxon has been announcing the release of several upgrades to its Cinema 4D DCC program during these past months. In rounding out these developments, the company has announced the release of its Cinebench 2024 benchmark. This new version of the respected benchmarking software, which has been used in computer performance evaluation for two decades, aims to provide artists, designers, and creators with a more precise representation of their hardware capabilities by embracing cutting-edge technology.

Recent advancements in single-cell technologies allow characterization of experimental perturbations at single-cell resolution. While methods have been developed to analyze such experiments, the application of a strict causal framework has not yet been explored for the inference of treatment effects at the single-cell level. Here we present a causal-inference-based approach to single-cell perturbation analysis, termed CINEMA-OT (causal independent effect module attribution + optimal transport). CINEMA-OT separates confounding sources of variation from perturbation effects to obtain an optimal transport matching that reflects counterfactual cell pairs. These cell pairs represent causal perturbation responses permitting a number of novel analyses, such as individual treatment-effect analysis, response clustering, attribution analysis, and synergy analysis. We benchmark CINEMA-OT on an array of treatment-effect estimation tasks for several simulated and real datasets and show that it outperforms other single-cell perturbation analysis methods. Finally, we perform CINEMA-OT analysis of two newly generated datasets: (1) rhinovirus and cigarette-smoke-exposed airway organoids, and (2) combinatorial cytokine stimulation of immune cells. In these experiments, CINEMA-OT reveals potential mechanisms by which cigarette-smoke exposure dulls the airway antiviral response, as well as the logic that governs chemokine secretion and peripheral immune cell recruitment. e24fc04721
